Tanya Lucero

Tanya Intsova Lucero (born 1995 in Russia) is a sculptor and a ceramicist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently she is focusing on portraiture from life. She got her B.F.A. from San Jose State University, where she studied digital sculpture for games and movies. After graduation Tanya decided to apply her skills to tangible materials rather than digital. She uses clay to create her sculptures, which can be casted in bronze or plaster. Tanya is enrolled in the Florence Academy of Art and travels back and forth between Italy and United States.
